From ae93ebf106adf7f06dee983067fb3f3e05e214cf Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Simone Date: Tue, 28 Jul 2026 22:38:05 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] docs: the cover letter matches what was posted The file still carried the v5 subject and the "v3 and v4 were never posted" line from the earlier bookkeeping. Version numbers count postings, and the series that went out on 2026-07-28 went out as v3, which is what patches/v3-0000-cover-letter.patch contains. Aligning the tracked file with the mail that was actually sent. --- docs/submission/cover-letter.txt | 4 +--- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 3 deletions(-) diff --git a/docs/submission/cover-letter.txt b/docs/submission/cover-letter.txt index dea6c97..80d0e83 100644 --- a/docs/submission/cover-letter.txt +++ b/docs/submission/cover-letter.txt @@ -1,4 +1,4 @@ -Subject: [PATCH v5] i2c: imc-skylake: add Intel Skylake-X iMC SMBus adapter +Subject: [PATCH v3] i2c: imc-skylake: add Intel Skylake-X iMC SMBus adapter The integrated memory controller of Intel Skylake-X and Cascade Lake-X processors contains an SMBus engine wired to the DDR4 DIMMs. This driver @@ -10,8 +10,6 @@ v2 was posted as i2c-imc-x299 and received no replies: https://lore.kernel.org/linux-i2c/20260620144131.415559-1-simone.chifari@gmail.com/ -v3 and v4 were never posted. - Correction to v2 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ v2 claimed that firmware filters CF8/CFC config writes to this function and
