feature merged to main (2aa12bb), tag v2.0.0-phaseA pushed
(triggers build-ns7zip as final end-to-end validation of main).
All Passi 1-9 [x]. Residual non-blocking cleanup: delete the test
Gitea releases via UI (tags kept).
